Another year, another Idapalooza! We hope y’all are having a lovely time packing up your drag and dreaming about the jollification that is right around the corner. Here are a few reminders and updates we’d like to pass on to attendees, both new and old:

-Don’t forget to bring a tent, a sleeping bag, a flashlight, and a water container (mug / jar / bottle). Without these things, you will be thirty and cold while you lie in the dark, bitten by bugs.

-Going to need something from town, like a cigarette or a beer? Make sure you get it before you show up, as the parking situation is such that you’ll be parting ways with your car once you’re here.

-The kitchen will make three vegetarian meals a day. Yum!

-We’re asking $20 per day as well as $25-200 registration from y’all. No one is turned away for lack of funds, but this thing is expensive for us, you know?

-There’s going to be so much going on! Workshops and performances and all sorts of other things. If you want to do a workshop, drop us an email or check in once you show up. The band line up is as follows:

Wednesday: Lizbien, Dick Binge, Fucking Dyke Bitches, & Moira Scar

Friday: Hyax, Anal Cube, Radium Angels, and Aye Nako

Saturday: BELIEVE, Potpourri of Pearls, Phoebe Jean + the Air Force, and Half Breed

Monday: TBA

-Don’t forget to get directions from our website (Mapquest and Google Maps are liars, never trust technology). And don’t forget to drive safely and at the speed limit once you’re in lovely middle Tennessee— we sure do love our neighbors out here, so we rely on our visiting friends being kind and respectful when in the area.

Art Residencies

We’re super excited about the interest our art residencies have generated and hope that 2013 will include a lot more people coming to the land to share their work and their energy with us.
